By downloading, installing, or using Flippy ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
Flippy is a PDF reader application that allows you to import, read, and annotate PDF documents with realistic page curl animations. The App offers both free and premium features.

The above features draw on shared monthly usage allowances that differ between the Premium and Pro tiers. Current allowances are shown on the upgrade screen and in the app's settings.
The in-app dictionary is free for everyone and does not require a subscription.
Free preview. Flippy may offer non-subscribers a limited, one-time preview of certain premium features (for example, a few minutes of AI Read-Aloud and a small number of AI answers). The preview is provided at our discretion, is limited per installation, and may be modified or withdrawn at any time without notice.
AI accuracy. AI-generated content (answers, summaries, explanations, image captions, flashcards, quizzes, and transcriptions) is produced automatically and may contain errors or omissions. It is provided for convenience and general reference only — verify important information against your document, and do not rely on AI output as professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.
You retain all rights to the PDF documents you import into the App. Flippy does not claim ownership of your content. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to access and use the documents you import.
Flippy is not directed at children under the age of 13, and you must be at least 13 years old to use the App. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle children's privacy.

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content (excluding user-imported documents), is the property of Flippy and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
The App integrates with third-party services (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude API, Google Sign-In, Google Firebase, Cloudflare Workers, the cdnjs public CDN, dictionaryapi.dev, and Wikipedia/Wikimedia) for certain features. Your use of these features is also subject to the respective third-party terms and privacy policies. See Flippy's Privacy Policy for details on what data is shared.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flippy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the App.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
